During Taihoku Imperial University amount, each faculty consisted of lectures that were conducted by a academic and enclosed assistant professors, assistants, instructors and workplace workers. In 2002 the faculty of Agriculture was renamed the faculty of Bio-Resources and Agriculture. In 2003 the faculty of bioscience was established.
